Joseph Pilates doing arm circles
This is Joesph Pilates performing arm circles. He leans his whole body away from the springs, using the resistance of the springs while maintaining his form. In the water we hinge from the hip and use the resistance of the water. In the advanced work we add holding the myo balls for more of a challenge. If appropriate, the magic circle is placed between the thighs for stabilization and for assistance in engaging the pelvic floor muscles.
